Featured Volunteer Teri Ward

As Teri Ward moves to Arizona this weekend, let’s appreciate and thank her for her numerous volunteer activities at the Center. Teri began attending the Center in the 1990s. She’s been an usher, served on the Hospitality Team, shopped for supplies, helped shop for the summer family picnic, and she also served by cleaning the Center’s kitchens. She did all of this from a loving place, with joy and pleasure. Thank you, Teri. We will miss you!

Featured Volunteer Andy Rangel

Andy Rangel has been volunteering in the bookstore since 2014. Andy shows up every week like clockwork to handle all the behind the scenes CD duplication. The Sunday service CDs, the Welcome CDs, and the Master CDs used in the sound booth, are all done by Andy. He orders all the duplication supplies, and when something breaks or malfunctions, he quietly focuses his attention until the issue is resolved. Andy is efficient, dependable, intelligent, calm under pressure , and quite handsome. He is an absolute asset to my bookstore team and a joy and delight to have around. ~ Martha Salazar, Bookstore Manager

Featured Volunteer Janet DePree

Janet DePree, thank you for your volunteering on the Member Assistant Program, on the Board of Trustees, and through your tireless painting of our entire facility.  It's like painting the Golden Gate Bridge, no sooner have you got to the end of one side, you start again on the other, keeping us bright, clean, and beautiful, like your spirit!

Featured Volunteer Gil Tully

Gil Tully is retiring after 15 years of Service a Sunday Morning Usher. He has been a member since 10/28/2001. He is always one of the first to respond to our requests for subs and has been on the Christmas Eve Usher team for many years. Donna Starr, our Logistics Manager says, “In addition to all the good Gil does for our community, I love the jaunty hats he wears!” Thank you Gil for your many years of love and service.
